Erythrophleum chlorostachys (F.Muell.) Baill.
Cooktown Ironwood
This tree is common in the savannah woodlands of Northern Australia. Splinters of this wood cause a local skin reaction.
This species was collected by Banks and Solander at Cooktown in 1770.
