Swainsona formosa (G.Don) Joy Thomps.
Sturt's Desert Pea
Some of these plants were in the middle of the road at Emu, site of the nuclear testing.This is the floral emblem of South Australia and was previously classified as Clianthus formosus. They form a beautiful display.
