Uvedalia linearis R.Br.
Grows in the Northern Territory and the north west of Western Australia. One of the Howard sand plain species. This plant was formerly known as Mimulus uvedaliae. The 2012 paper below details the name changes.

The purple flowered variety.This species was collected by Banks and Solander at Cooktown in 1770.
