Exocarpos nanus Hook.f.
Alpine Ballart
A small prostrate plant which grows in the Australian Alps and the Tasmanian alpine regions. It is hard to see among the rocks and other vegetation. The leaf scales are opposite. It can be confused with Exocarpos humifusus which is more common, a larger plant and has alternate leaf scales.
